Acrophobia

I use to play this game non stop, but now I can never get it to load. Whats up with that? I didnt even want to give one star..accidentally clicked it and couldnt figure out how to clear it.

I used to love to play this game.. spent hours and had great fun. Now, it takes too long to load, if it ever does load, most of the time I get tired of waiting and move on. Sure wish they would get it fixed!!!

I'm sorry, but Acrowars is garbage. It feels like a fancy chat room, not an actual game. I miss the original game with the robotic woman's voice, saying "THE ACRO IS..." and the heavy typing of the acronym letters. Please bring back the real Acrophobia. I spent many hours with friends enjoying that game. I think I speak for the masses when I say this game is sincerely missed and will be frequented when you return it to its rightful home!!!

Ignore the screen capture that shows the old Uproar game, this site is actually 'acrowars' which looks more like the old IRC game. If you want a game closer to the Bezerk/Uproar version, try http://www.acrobabble.com Great graphics and improvements happening all the time.

I played acrobabble http://www.acrobabble.com a few months back and then more recently. The game has improved a ton. Nothing to download, works in your browser, and great interface. I would highly recommend it.

This game is NOTHING like Bezerk or Uproar, it's more of an IRC look.
If you liked the interface of Acrophobia on Bezerk or Uproar, check out AcroBabble. This site does not require a download, play in browser and it is improving all the time.

I loved this game since it was first developed as a download able application from www.gamesville.com but it was soon moved to uproar then off on its own... I absolutely fell for it until the users began to vote for all the profanity acros and nothing witty came of it from there.. but the concept of the game still holds strong if you get the right players in your room..

I absolutely love the game, but it takes a while to load. I feel bad for the people with Dial-Up it might take even longer. I'm hoping Uproar will fix this problem..

I shall give the game a 4, not because of the loading process, because the GAME is absolutly splendid.

This is the worst game i've ever played. If you're going to duplicate something or bring it back, you shouldn't bring it back worse. This doesn't even remotely compare to the Acrophobia played at bezerk.com. I won't be back.

and the reason why i only give it a rating of 3 is because i have the hardest time logging onto this particular game it fustrates me to no end. i'm sure you all are working on this matter i hope. thank you.

I agree! I would like to see the old acrophobia back! It worked better than this one did. I never did understand why the old one had to go in the first place? I was thinking "this is better than nothing"...but now I am not quite sure if I can agree with that! Bring back the old acro!

It is disappointing. Very slow to load, the graphics aren't good, if you don't notice right off you'll miss the letters you are suppose to use, and it required me to enter another log in after logging into uproar.

Yeah, as a recovering Acro-addict, I found this version truly disappointing. Sure it takes forever for the screen to load, but once it loads up, no problems. The downside as far as I'm concerned is the poor interface. No cool sounds like the original web-based Acrophobia. And... worst of all, the scoring is different. You don't get bonus points for the quickest Acro and at the end, face-off round is only 1 Acro! (instead of 3 like the other version)

Only kept me entertained for 2 games and I won't be returning again. Hopefully someone resurrects the original.

I sure hope you are right and the REAL Acrophobia is really coming back. This so called "version" of Acrophobia is horrible. I was so excited when I saw it on the list as I used to be an acro addict, however, it took FOREVER to load the truly sad screen... I think I'll wait to see if the original returns.

Sophia I Hate to burst your bubble but thius version of acrophobia is not the version you were looking for. this is only a clone...One of many. This isnt even the best one it takes SOOOOOOOO Long to load the screen. If your looking for Acrophobia i have good word that it will be coming back soon and not at acrowars! Stay Tuned!

So i thought this game was gone forever. This game is so highly addicting! Being able to play online against others adds to the fun. I have been searching for so long, I even posted a question on yahoo asking where to find this game. Thank you UPROAR for finding acrophobia!!!!!!!!
