Lots of Fun!
I'm new to Risk, so I found the computer players to be pretty challenging. It's a very fun game, just as good, (if not better) as the board version, since you don't need all the set up and clean up. the animations they play after the general gets defeated are too long though, wish they'd make that shorter.
Great for beginners only
When I played the game, I set it to 6 players, adding the other 5 players as the highest level computer opponents. I won the first 3 games easily, no challenge whatsoever, and then told my 12 year old daughter to play. She'd played only a few times, and loved it. She'll be the one playing from now on... until she gets better and decides it's too easy as well.
I give it 3 stars because it's true to the board game and the game works fine, but the computer players just aren't hard enough.
Playing against computer too easy
If you are a beginner to Risk, or want to learn how to play, Risk and don't have anyone to play against, the Risk Online Game is the solution for you. But if you've been playing for awhile, don't bother - the game is too easy.
I grew up playing Risk, but it seems like no one I know now knows how to play, so I was very excited when I found this game online, and that I could create players to play against. Unfortunately, I won every single time, without much of a challenge, even settings the opponents as the hardest possible.
Maybe I'll give it to my friends so they can learn to play, and then we can play in person.
I wish they'd make a community version where you could play against real live people.
