Hey, I'm Melissa.
I'm one of the founders of the Uproar community. For years I played online solitaire and Sudoku at work (in between sales calls, during my lunch hour or if the games got really good… it explains the many pages of my resume).

Recently I started exploring new games.I love, love, love playing puzzle games like Atlantis Quest and Azada.

But with all the websites it was difficult to figure out where to find the best games. Let’s face it: we don’t have a lot of time to research every casual game site. I needed one reliable spot
where I could find reviews of all the available casual games.

That’s when I decided to team up with Heather, my favorite game show fanatic, and create our own online casual gaming community.

A place where members can share reviews - we call them Uproars - and talk about their favorite casual games. Using contributions from our community, we’ll spotlight the best online games and game sites on the Internet. That way we can all work together to achieve the Uproar goal: PLAY MORE AND SEARCH LESS!

With Ethan in first-grade and only my two-year-old terror Sophie at home, I finally have some down-time. Being a huge fan of game shows — Family Feud, Jeopardy, and more recently, Deal or No Deal – I always wanted to be a contestant.

Then I realized I could be a “contestant” at home and play these games online—new obsession, hello.

And the best part was the Internet totally worked around my schedule – so sweet of them. But I spent more time looking for where I could play casual games than actually playing. I knew I wasn’t the only person with no time to find information on great games, there had to be a whole community.

So I joined forces with Melissa to create a site where casual game lovers, like us – she’s so crazy - can find reviews of their favorite games and the best places to play them. I mean, does anyone want to waste hours looking for great games when they can spend their kid-free time rocking Bejeweled.
